C++ Software Engineer (Poland Remote)

Project description: We are seeking a software engineer with strong options trading product knowledge to design and develop C++ systems that are robust, resilient, and blazingly fast. In this role you will participate in leading quantitative trading by building and maintaining high-performance infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with top programmers and strategists to solve complex engineering challenges

Requirements

• Experience with Options and Option Pricing Models in a high-frequency trading environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in C++ with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of C++17 and C++20 features, Linux internals, and networking.
• Deep understanding of CPU architecture and optimization.
• Financial experience, particularly with Options, across multiple asset classes.
• Familiarity with trading venue protocols, market data, and order entry.

Nice to have

• Additional programming languages like Java, Python, or Perl are a plus.
• Degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop a tick-by-tick backtesting platform and exchange simulation.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to build and optimize trading systems.
• Drive new technical initiatives and optimize large-scale parallel computations.
• Develop tools for historical market data and trading simulations to enhance research productivity.
• Design and implement a low-latency trading platform for global exchanges.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks, risk management, and performance tracking tools.
• Benchmark and optimize feed handlers across various hardware and software configurations.
• Work closely with trading teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions quickly.
• Adapt systems to exchange technical upgrades
