Business Analyst in Comfy

COMFY is a leading omnichannel retailer of household appliances and electronics in Ukraine with 110 stores, which is among the top three e-commerce platforms. Every fourth Ukrainian family makes purchases at COMFY.

We are creating a new analytical department that will make data a key source of insights, innovation and efficiency at COMFY.

The department will not just build reporting, but by creating a core that will help businesses see the situation in real time and find opportunities for growth and even greater efficiency. We are building a modern data architecture to move from analyzing the past to analytics that shape the future.

Key tasks:

• Building financial and economic models for new initiatives
• Evaluation business cases for investment, launch of new categories, business expansion
• Analysis of the competitive environment, market trends, structure of players
• Preparation of presentations and reports for management and supervisory board
• Support of strategic projects, updating of models based on updated indicators
• Formation of templates for investment evaluation

Required experience:

• Higher education in economics, finance, applied mathematics, business analytics
• 1-2 years of work experience in the role of business analyst, investment analyst or consultant
• Experience in building financial models (DCF, NPV, scenarios)
• Interpretation of P&L, Cash Flow, Unit Economics
• Collection and synthesis of market information
• Work with Power BI / Tableau (preferred), with BI/analytical sources, competitive databases
• Excel (advanced formulas, modeling); PowerPoint (slide design, storyline);
• Knowledge of Statista, Euromonitor, Similarweb will be an advantage
• Critical and structured thinking, ability to justify numbers with words and vice versa
• High level of business communication, interaction with TOP managers
