Backend Software Engineer (RoR, Golang)

The company CoreTeka is forming an R&D office for a large international food company , which believes in the victory of Ukraine and wants to develop its product with the best engineers of our country.

The project is a large sales automation service.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development;
• 2+ years of experience with Golang or Ruby (RoR);
• Experience with Concurrency, elasticity;
• Experience with messaging (Kafka and RabbitMQ);
• Ability to read and understand Ruby code (or desire to understand it);
• Knowledge of SQL (preferably Postgres or MySQL);
• Be familiar with the Cloud Native ecosystem (Docker/Kubernetes);
• English from Upper-Intermediate (fluent communication).

Main tasks:

• Work on various projects in the "email and calendar services area";
• Technical analysis of specifications of existing processes;
• Development of new functions;
• Error correction;
• Platform monitoring;
• Troubleshooting and assisting support representatives;
• Checking of new services against the operation of existing ones;
• Special migration zone:
• Scalable solution using Kafka and RabbitMQ;
• Complex data processing flows.
