Automation engineer using the Grasshopper + Rhino software complex (Programmer-developer of computer programs) in GISS, TOV

The position involves participation in the development and improvement of engineering network design automation processes and the use of modern software tools for modeling and optimization of solutions.

Main responsibilities:

• Design process automation: development of scripts for engineering network design automation (electrical and plumbing systems). 

• Solution optimization: improvement and optimization of existing script components to improve efficiency and functionality. 

• Custom Module Development: Create your own elements in Grasshopper using Python and/or C#. 

• Working with Rhino: applying Rhino skills to prepare 3D models and integrate automation algorithms. 

• Teamwork: Collaborate with engineers and programmers to ensure seamless integration of automated processes. 

• Ability to assess the scale of tasks and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Experience with Grasshopper technology for at least 3 years. 

• Confident command of Rhino for 3D modeling and parametric design. 

• Understanding of data structure in Grasshopper and ability to work with Data Trees. 

• Experience writing custom scripts in Python and/or C#. 

• Education: Higher technical education in architecture, construction, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics or related specialties.

Desired skills: 

• Experience in web development (JavaScript/TypeScript/Three.js/GLSL/WebGL). 

• Knowledge of C++ in conjunction with .NET. 

• Good understanding of linear algebra and its application in design.
