GO "Proliska" is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that provides comprehensive protection of the affected population since 2014. We work on the frontline: from evacuation and psychological support to housing restoration and social support.
We are looking for a motivated specialist for the position of assistant project manager who will provide administrative, communication and logistical support to the team with the goal of effective implementation of project activities, helping to ensure decent and affordable living conditions for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in places of temporary residence (MTP), as well as support for the organization of safe social transportation and evacuation measures.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Education: higher education in the field of law, economics, social work or other related specialty.
- Experience: work experience in the humanitarian sector, non-profit organizations or UN agencies will be an advantage.
- Languages: fluent in Ukrainian; knowledge of the English language will be an advantage.
- Communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
- Professional skills: an advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel), business correspondence skills, analytical thinking.
- Readiness: for business trips to government-controlled territories, in particular to frontline communities, within the scope of project implementation.
Key tasks:
- Promoting the effective implementation of the project in close cooperation with the project coordinator and ensuring the timely completion of defined tasks.
- Monitoring the implementation of project indicators, maintaining and updating the indicator table, analyzing the collected data and initiating corrective actions measures to improve the effectiveness of the project.
- Coordination and adjustment of data collection processes, their quality control and ensuring timely reporting in the ActivityInfo system.
- Participation in the preparation of reports for donors and the management of the organization.
- Contributing to the adjustment of internal work organization processes within the project, including the development and updating of instructions and procedures in close cooperation with the coordinator of the project.
- Ensuring proper document management in accordance with the standards of the organization, rules of ethics, while preserving the confidentiality of service recipients.
- Performing a general assessment and analysis of the execution of contracts, monitoring compliance with their terms and established deadlines.
- Coordinating activities to create new places of temporary residence (MTP) and ensuring their proper functioningwithin the scope of the project, including the organization of needs assessments of MTP residents, development and implementation of monitoring tools, control of restoration works, improvement of infrastructure and coordination of the supply of basic necessities.
- Support for the implementation of social transportation measures for residents of settlements located along the contact line and in de-occupied territories where there is no regular transport communication.
- Supporting the organization and functioning of safe evacuation routes for the movement of civilians from areas of active hostilities.
- Interaction with authorities, participation in national and regional coordination meetings of UN clusters and meetings with international partners.
- Organization of workshops, focus groups and trainings for IDPs.
- Conducting visits, including to frontline areas, with the aim of quality control of the provided services and the implementation of project indicators.
