GENERAL INFORMATION

BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a sector leader in the protection of people who have suffered from war, veterans, refugees and stateless persons. We seek recovery and integration for those we help. Our team protects people's rights and influences laws and decisions in Ukraine and the world to become fairer. We are actively developing a network of partners for localized support of those who need it. The fund is 13 years old. Today, the team of BF "Right to Defense" has about 1,200 specialists. Geography: 22 regions of Ukraine, as well as a representative office in Poland. More than 3,300,000 people have received aid since the start of the full-scale invasion. Our work was recognized at the national level: in 2024, the Foundation won first place in the "Charity Ukraine" competition in the "All-Ukrainian Charity" category, entered the top 10 of the Forbes Ukraine "50 Best Charitable Organizations" rating, and took 9th place in the integrity rating of Ukrainian charitable foundations.

The project will complement the efforts of local authorities, providing critical evacuations from accessible frontline settlements to collective centers and social institutions outside the affected regions, as well as facilitating the reception of evacuees and IDPs with high vulnerabilities in places of accommodation. R2P has a permanent presence in the target regions. Cooperation and dialogue with local institutions is established and supported, in particular with regional and district state administrations, social institutions, municipalities and local self-government bodies (communities). The project is aimed at the priorities of the CCCM and General Defense clusters, in particular the provision of emergency assistance and response to specific defense needs. R2P will also support collective center administrations and other disability rights stakeholders to improve their capacity to respond effectively to the needs of vulnerable groups and provide quality services to their beneficiaries. 400; font-style: normal">The focus of the specialist will be on the audit of the accounting records and the external requirements.

400">Duties: Learn and understand the principles of accounting in humanitarian organizations;

  • Study and navigate the Fund's internal policies regarding procurement, receipt, storage and write-off of goods; regarding the provision of material aid in kind and in the form of repair works;

  • Study and navigate in all types of accompanying documentation certifying the management and accounting of the provision financial aid;

  • Get acquainted with the conditions, purpose, term of the project;

  • Get acquainted with the SOPs of the project, in case of a shortage, develop the necessary documents;

  • Learn how to create reports on daily, weekly, monthly activity;

  • Develop a schedule of reporting documents, from the time they are submitted to the archive;

  • Implement and maintain weekly and monthly reporting on the cleanliness of reports, implement a management system timely reporting;

  • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled audits.

  • Experience as an auditor / commodity expert / controller of commodity accounting / accountant; experience with accounting systems;

  • Management reporting audit of a humanitarian or commercial organization, possibly skills in working with fixed asset accounting;

  • Processing of inventory results: understanding write-off operations, compensation, overlapping resorts; 

  • Understanding the processes of returning goods to the supplier;

  • Experience of working with regular reports in terms of product balances by warehouses, product categories;

  • Work experience inoperations in terms of employees, suppliers, recipients (legal and natural persons);

  • Understanding the principles of material responsibility;

  • Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation;
  • Preference is given to candidates who have their own car.
