Position title: head of department

Structural subdivision: department of rule-making activity and legal expertise on investment and innovation policy, management of international treaties and legal expertise on investment and foreign economic policy of the legal support department

Location of workplace: st. Khreshchatyk, 24, Kyiv

Main duties:

1. General management and coordination of the work of the department, distribution of responsibilities among employees of the department, monitoring of their performance of their duties

2. Organization, provision and control of execution of assignments by employees of the department within the established terms

3. Preparation and participation in the preparation of projects of regulatory acts, memoranda concluded by the Ministry of Economy

4. Elaboration and legal examination of projects of regulatory and legal acts

5. Preparation, processing and approval of draft conclusions of the Ministry of Economy

6. Verification of compliance with the legislation and international treaties of Ukraine of projects of normative legal acts

7. Conducting gender-legal examination of projects of normative-legal acts

8. Participation in ensuring the adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the legislation of the European Union

9. Ensuring and participating in the implementation of control over legal work aimed at the correct application, strict compliance and prevention of non-compliance with the requirements of legislation in the Ministry of Economy, coordination of legal work related to the conclusion of memorandums by the Ministry of Economy 10. Analysis and generalization of the practice of applying legislation, participation in the work on the development and implementation of unified approaches to its application Qualification requirements: Higher education degree not lower than master's degree. Experience of working in civil service positions of categories "B" or "B" or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience of working in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions and organizations regardless of the form of ownership for at least two years.
