Head of Supply Chain in Odd Systems

Odd Systems is a defense technology company specializing in the development and production of thermal imaging cameras and FPV drones. Founded by a group of entrepreneurs, engineers, managers and FPV enthusiasts with previous experience in a number of international technology companies, including Petcube, a global leader in pet cameras and software. The company's products, including Kurbas-256 and Kurbas-640 thermal imaging cameras; FPV-drones Stus-7, Lupinis-10, Gorska-12 and others, named after prominent figures of the "Shooted Renaissance" and "Sixties" - Ukrainian intellectuals of the 20th century, persecuted and destroyed by the Soviet regime. Odd Systems has offices in Ukraine, the USA and the EU.

The purpose of the role: To ensure the efficient, uninterrupted and economically optimal functioning of the company's entire supply chain — from planning needs and purchases to warehouse logistics, production support and shipment of finished products. Formulate and implement a strategic supply chain policy aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs and improving service for internal and external customers. logistics, engineering or related fields).

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Supply Chain Management

• Development and implementation of a supply chain strategy in accordance with the company's business objectives.
• Management of the entire SCM operating model: planning, procurement, logistics, warehouse, inventory management, distribution.
• Analysis and improvement of key processes (S&OP, MRP, DRP etc.).

2. Planning and procurement

• Managing the process of demand forecasting and sales/production planning.
• Determining purchasing policy and parameters: MOQ, LT, continuity of supply, contract terms.
• Working with key suppliers, developing the supply base, evaluating performance.

• Ensuring the supply of materials for production and R&D in accordance with the purchasing policy and requests. 3. Inventory management
  • Formation of an inventory strategy and maintenance of their optimal level (components, consumables, finished products).
  • Launch of data accuracy control mechanisms, inventories, cycle counting.
  • Reduction of excess inventory and increase in circulation.

  4. Warehouse logistics and internal logistics

  • Organization of the company's warehouses: reception, storage, assembly, shipment.
  • Implementation of safety standards, address storage, optimal movement routes.
  • Responsibility for WMS systems and integration of processes with ERP.

  5. External logistics and delivery

  • Management of transportation of materials and finished products (domestic and international transportation).
  • Optimization of logistics costs, selection and control of carriers.
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines, customs procedures, documentary support.

  6. Team management and development

  • SCM team management: procurement, planning, logistics, warehouse.
  • Staff development, structure formation, KPI and motivation system.
  • Implementation of process and continuous improvement culture (Lean, Kaizen).

  7. Analytics and reporting

  • Definition and control of KPIs: OTIF, inventory accuracy, stock turnover, service level, costs.
  • Preparation of regular management reports for management.
  • Supply chain risk analysis and development of scenario plans.
