This group plans on opening several more locations in 2024, 2025 and beyond and requires a very collaborative and strategic head of HR to successfully drive people operations.Some must haves:10+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience, very strong business acumen, deep knowledge of restaurant growth strategy/ growing a hospitality workforce.The incumbent will be working in lockstep with the COO and CEO and will be on site at company headquarters in Baltimore 5 days a week.This is a national search and relocation will be offered to the right candidate.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES· Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with COO and leadership team to provide overall company leadership and direction, as well as working with all levels of an organization.· Resourceful, self-motivated with a collaborative team mindset, and experience working in fast-paced changing environments.· Comfortable working within ambiguity and constant change, able to work through complex problems, set priorities, and execute commitments.· High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels and establish collaborative working relationships.· A mentor and strategic partner who can connect with people from all walks of life.· Raises the bar and inspires the same from others.· An empathetic and engaging leader who is solutions-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented.· Experience objectively coaching employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues.· Model organizational culture, values, and behaviors· Applied knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes for employment.· Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.· Experienced internal investigator of employee relations matters· Proven strategic skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong project management skills· Outstanding written and verbal communication; must be a clear, concise, and persuasive communicator one on one and is group settings.· Understands and adheres to the concepts of confidentiality and anonymity; able to operate with the utmost professionalism and discretion.· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.· Performs other Human Resources related duties as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience.· 10 + years of HR leadership experience and SPHR or SHRM-SCP is a plus.· Experienced in building and scaling people’s function for a growing business, spanning multiple states.· Experience working in the hospitality industry.
