With over $5billion AUM, and a newly-raised $1bn Energy-Transition fund, they represent the upper echelons of private equity. They recognize the long-term investment opportunity in Energy-Transition and have been extremely successful in their thesis thus-far.The highly respected investment team are seeking Associates for their 2024 Associate programme. This is a 3 year programme, usually leading to a seat as Vice President.PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENT ASSOCIATEThe Associate will be responsible for sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the transaction execution process within the Energy-Transition sector.The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and have a strong understanding of finance and investment principles.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES· Conduct market and industry research to identify potential investment opportunities.· Analyze financial statements, valuation models, and other investment metrics to evaluate the attractiveness of potential investments.· Prepare investment memorandum and presentation materials to support investment recommendations.· Participate in due diligence efforts, including reviewing legal documents, conducting financial analysis, and identifying key risks and opportunities.· Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to support the transaction execution process, including deal structuring and negotiation.· Monitor portfolio companies and perform periodic valuations and analysis.· Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities.· Provide analytical support and insight to senior investment professionals.REQUIREMENTS· Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field required;· MBA or advantageous but not essential;· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field· Minimum of 2-3 years in power/ energy / utilities / energy-transition· Strong understanding of finance and investment principles, including financial modelling and valuation techniques· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Ability to work independently and as part of a team· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines· Experience with investment analysis software and systems, such as Capital IQ or Bloomberg· Ability to work long hours and travel as neededREMUNERATION / COMPENSATIONIn return, the client is offering a best in class earnings, compensation & benefits package, along with transparent route for career progression toward the executive level.· Compensation: $250,000 per annum· Top-Tier health insurance· Vision / Dental / 401K / Parental Leave / PTO· Career Progression toward VP· Opportunity to work with some of the best investors in the world· Exposure to multi-billion dollar deals in energy-transitionHOW TO PROCEED Submit your resume directly to [email protected] Show more Show less Должностной уровень Специалист Тип занятости Полный рабочий день Должностные обязанности Финансовая деятельность и операции Отрасли Принципалы по венчурному капиталу и частным акциям, Услуги, связанные с энергией из возобновляемых источников и Банковские инвестиционные услуги
