This role will work cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Field Operations, other business stakeholders, vendors, and franchisees to support field and support center implementations to drive efficiency and operations excellence within the Cans. You will serve as a consultant to our field operations team in areas of innovation, L&D, marketing, supply chain and more while serving as a key voice of our Smalls Squad Members.What You’ll Be Working OnSupports the implementation of all restaurant systems and builds tools and guides to support their role outsMeasures performance through the operations scorecard to provide support and direction on restaurant-level improvements in speed of service, accuracy, and guest sentimentSupport the testing process to enhance restaurant execution and drive sales growth through new equipment, systems and/or productsPartner with our field operations team, department leaders, and vendors to drive traffic and efficiency to reach our sales and profitability goalsThis role requires a person with deep understanding of restaurant operations, who can facilitate the relationship between the restaurants and the systems used daily as well as manage project criteria and timelinesManage and execute hands-on testing, training, and deploying of restaurant systems, new releases, enhancements, and initiatives to include products and equipment, platform processes such as delivery, e-Commerce, mobile ordering and Point-of-SaleImplementation focus in areas of digital, production management, Can operations, and partnershipsServe as a support center field operations consultant in areas of innovation, L&D, marketing and supply chainWorking cross-functionally to support LTO’s by means of ingredient ordering, promotional execution guides, and product simulationsWork cross-functionally to align processes and support ongoing improvements to make them more efficientEnsure project teams have a proactive approach to delivery against commitmentsServe as a leader and influence the organization in a manner to build better processes, systems and communications across all leadership, franchisees, and teamsFacilitate communication to field staff and franchise partners regarding Operating Services updatesSustain a culture of continuous improvement of operational procedures, policies, and management practices to achieve organizational goalsWhat You’ll Need4-8 years experience in restaurant/store operations, consulting1-2 years of operations services experience with the restaurant or retail industryAbility to interdependently develop strategic and tactical plansExperience working with external vendorsAnalytical approach to problem-solving using both qualitative and quantitative data; natural curiosity and desire for continuous improvement.Experience with franchisees is a plusStrong writing skills with the ability to write manuals, SOP’s, and procedures in a clear and concise mannerAbility to interdependently develop and successfully execute tactical plansAbility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously keeping program deliverables on trackExperience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors and navigating discussions and potential conflictsHighly analytical approach to problem solving using both qualitative and quantitative data; natural curiosity and desire for continuous improvementHighly collaborative, with strong communication and organizational skillsExperience working with franchisees and managing product/program feedback and navigating conversationsThe ability to travel 15%It is the policy of Smalls Sliders to provide equal employment opportunities for all applicants and team members without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status or civil partnership, national or ethnic origin, pregnancy or maternity, veteran status, uniformed service (as defined by 10 U.S.C. §101 (a)(5)), protected disability status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender reassignment, or gender expression, or any other characteristic protected by statute or law.
