You will join a team of WordPress specialists focused on the development of complex solutions based on the WordPress CMS. The core of our team consists of T-shaped specialists who work both on creative landing pages and corporate websites, as well as on technical tasks in the development of plugins and applications based on WordPress. You will be responsible for WordPress setup, plugin installation, markup integration, solution support, updates and optimization, integration of third-party APIs.

Our clients are mostly from Europe and the USA, who work with enterprises in such industries as finance, e-commerce, hotel and restaurant business, education, consulting, construction, health care.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress CMS (theme/plugin/customization development)

• Knowledge of the most popular WordPress plugins and practices (cache, security, e-commerce, etc.)

• Significant experience with MySQL (MariaDB)

• Significant experience with popular web server configurations (Apache, nginx)

• Good knowledge of Docker and the Linux ecosystem

• Ability to find bottlenecks and fix them (profiling, performance improvement, analysis)

• Experience with Git and GitFlow

< li> Understanding CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)

• Intermediate level of spoken and written English

ADVANTAGE WILL BE

• Good front-end development skills (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js)

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to effective design principles such as code reuse, modularity, and extensibility

• Assist testers and support staff in resolving technical issues related to software installation and operation

• Execute checking the code for compliance with the best engineering practices, coding standards and quality criteria established on the project

• Continually participate in the identification and analysis of technical risks, immediately notify the project manager of new identified risks and propose a strategy for their minimization

• Report on status and progress in accordance with requirements project and company

• Participate in the creation of technical specifications

• Participate in evaluation and planning sessions

• Code, develop integration tests, debug, document, implement, and maintain portions of software
• Promote good design principles, such as code reuse, modularity, and extensibility
• Assisttest engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation
• Perform code review for compliance with the best engineering practices, coding standards, and quality criteria set forth on the project
• Continuously participate in technical risk identification and analysis, immediately notify the Project Manager of new risks identified, and suggest a mitigation strategy
• Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
• Contribute to the creation of technical specifications
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
