The main area is the development of WordPress sites and resolving bugs and issues. You will work closely with our Head of Web Development to enhance and troubleshoot our existing web platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end WordPress development.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the web development team to refine website architecture for enhanced performance and aesthetics.Customize and maintain our WordPress sites, ensuring seamless integration with other front-end and back-end technologies.Use Figma designs to develop responsive, visually appealing website interfaces.Implement and modify WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.Manage website data with MySQL, ensuring efficient database integration.Conduct routine website maintenance, including updates, security checks, and troubleshooting.Interact with RESTful APIs for integration of various services and ensure data integrity across the system.Address and resolve issues related to both the front-end and back-end of WordPress sites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.Work independently, managing time and projects effectively with minimal supervision.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a WordPress developer with strong front-end and back-end capabilities.Proficiency in front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.Strong understanding of PHP back-end development, WordPress file structure, and theme/plugin development.Experienced in using WP Bakery (Visual Composer) and Figma.Knowledge of e-commerce integration in WordPress.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues efficiently.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions as part of a team.Familiarity with website maintenance protocols and best practices.Application Requirements: Please submit a portfolio of recent projects along with your resume.
