WordPress Developer in Codebridge Technology, Inc.

Codebridge – a Ukrainian tech company building web and mobile solutions. We’re growing and looking for a WordPress Developer who will help us create beautiful, fast, and reliable websites for our clients from Europe and the US. Most of the projects will be in the E-commerce domain, as well as interesting SaaS and Healthcare projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins 
• Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO 
• Troubleshoot and fix issues on WordPress websites 
• Collaborate with designers and PMs to deliver high-quality results 

• Stay up to date with the latest best practices in WordPress and Shopify development 

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience working with WordPress (themes, plugins, customization) 
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and basic JS 
• Basic SEO knowledge (keywords, meta tags, Lighthouse recommendations) 
• Knowledge of website security and performance optimization 
• Experience working with Git 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (for client communication and documentation) 

Would be a plus: 

• Experience with hosting, domain setup, email configuration, and website migration 
• WooCommerce or Shopify Apps integration experience 
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
