You will join a team of WordPress specialists focused on the development of complex solutions based on the WordPress CMS. The core of our team consists of T-shaped specialists who work both on creative landing pages and corporate websites, as well as on technical tasks in the development of plugins and applications based on WordPress. You will be responsible for WordPress setup, plugin installation, markup integration, solution support, updates and optimization, third-party API integration.

Our clients are mostly from Europe and the USA, which work with companies in such industries as finance, e-commerce, hotel and restaurant business, education, consulting, construction, health care.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress CMS (theme/plugin/customization development)
• Knowledge of the most popular plugins and WordPress practitioner (cache, security, e-commerce, etc.)
• Experience with MySQL (MariaDB)
• Experience with popular web server configurations (Apache, nginx)
• li>Good knowledge of Docker and the Linux ecosystem
• Ability to find bottlenecks and fix them (profiling, performance improvement, analysis)
• Experience with Git and GitFlow
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English at the Intermediate level

WILL BE PREFERRED

• Good front-end development skills (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles
< li>Knowledge of Amazon Web Services

MANDATORY LANGUAGES

• Write code, develop integration tests, debug, document, implement, and maintain pieces of software
• Contribute to effective design principles such as code reuse, modularity, and extensibility< /li>
• They helpand testers and support staff in resolving technical issues related to the installation and operation of the software
• Perform code review for compliance with engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality criteria established on the project
• li>Constantly participate in the identification and analysis of technical risks, immediately notify the project manager of newly identified risks and propose a strategy for their minimization
• Report on status and progress in accordance with project and company requirements
• Participate in the creation of technical specifications
• Participate in evaluation and planning sessions

You will join a team of WordPress specialists focusing on turn- key solutions development on WordPress CMS. T-shaped peers are our core team, who work on both creative Landing pages and Corporate Websites along with purely technical assignments on WordPress plugins & WordPress-based applications development.

You will be responsible for setting up WordPress, plugins setup, integration of the markup, maintenance of the solution, updates and optimization, 3rd-party APIs integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Code, develop integration tests, debug, document, implement, and maintain portions of software
• Promote good design principles, such as code reuse, modularity, and extensibility
• Assist test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation
• Perform code review for compliance with the best engineering practices, coding standards, and quality criteria set forth on the project
• Continuously participate in technical risk identification and analysis, immediately notify the Project Manager of new risks identified, and suggest a mitigation strategy
• Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
• Contribute to the creation of technical specifications
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
