VP of Supply Chain in Everstar

Now we are looking for a VP of Supply Chain for our client, one of the manufacturing miltech companies of Ukraine. Its developments already help our defenders to effectively achieve their goals and save the lives of the military. The VP of Supply Chain will be responsible for the entire integrated process (E2E) and help scale the company. Tasks of the area of ​​responsibility: Building the structure and organizing the work of the supply chain department; Management of logistics, procurement and warehouse teams; MRP planning, sales and cooperation with production; Closing the need for uninterrupted production; Responsibility for warehousing and transport logistics; Control of the entire logistics chain - orders from abroad, customs clearance and delivery to production. Movement of finished products within the country. Cooperation with the existing base of suppliers and search for new ones. Negotiations on terms of supply, prices and other terms of cooperation—all imports; Conclusion and control of contracts with suppliers; Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve supplier productivity in terms of service, delivery time and lot size; Planning and optimization of logistics procurement budget; Tracking, control of the implementation of procurement logistics plans. Organization of unscheduled deliveries when necessary; Sourcing and interaction with other divisions of the company regarding purchasing and delivery needs. Important skills: 5+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager and similar; Commercial experience of E2E supply chain; Experience in building a department structure and team management; Experience of interaction with foreign suppliers (China, Europe etc.); Experience in import, a large number of SKUs; Experience in a manufacturing company (non-food); Knowledge of the English language — Upper-Intermediate level (sufficient for communication with suppliers); Excellent computer skills (1C, Google docs, MSOffice, etc.); Working conditions: Official employment with the possibility of reservation; 24 days of vacation per year and paid sick days; Medical insurance; The opportunity to influence key decisions and the growth of the company; Direct influence on the defense capability of our country; Work for a common goal — the victory of Ukraine; Work with innovative solutions that change the conduct of hostilities; A promising industry , which became a new driver of the economy.
