We are looking for a leader who can codify a strategic vision for the future of IT at Kate Farms, and who is willing to deeply engage across the enterprise to bring that vision to life, leaning on experiences scaling and maturing IT in high-growth organizations. Must have a deep understanding of Information Technology trends, specifically related to building and capitalizing on data assets across the enterprise while using technology to enable scale across the enterprise.What You Will DoStrategic Planning & GovernanceProvide vision, leadership, strategies, and solutions on all enterprise-wide IT issuesDevelop and execute the company's Information Technology strategic plan, aligned with our long-term company strategyProvide strategic guidance to executive leadership on IT investmentsData Architecture & ManagementDesign and manage the future of our data environment with scalability, to help build data assets across the enterprise (commercial, operations, finance) that create differentiated value for Kate FarmsAI & Emerging TechnologiesPilot and implement AI/ML technologies to drive scale and operating leverageStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trendsTechnology ArchitectureOversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure (e.g., Azure, CRM, ERP, Shopify), and build integration strategies to ensure seamless communications between systems / platformsCollaborate with department leaders to identify and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and align with our technology architectureIT Operations & InfrastructureOversee day-to-day IT operations, including system admin, network management, helpdesk, hardware, reliability, and security of IT systems / services that enable a distributed workforce and two corporate office locationsLead and mentor a team of IT professionals and support diverse hiring and related initiatives to meet company goalsManage the IT budget and relationships with external vendors and partnersCybersecurity & Risk ManagementEnsure data security and privacy across the organization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsWe Are Looking For Someone WhoIs a visionary leader who effectively communicates and aligns IT initiatives with the company's goalsHas led companies through a growth / scale journey while driving IT maturityIs excited about and willing to roll up their sleeves and drive implementationShows a passion for technology and innovation, including AI/MLIs adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentDemonstrates strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisionsHas exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to communicate technical concepts to staff, develop programs, and internal communicationsHas excellent leadership and management skills to build and motivate a high-performing IT teamSupports diverse hiring and related initiatives to meet company goalsWE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITHA minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology in increasingly senior leadership rolesExperience within a regulated industry with similar operating models (e.g., medical nutrition, biopharma, consumer goods, nutrition)Solid understanding of and experience with data architecture, management, IT governance and complianceA proven track record of successfully driving IT initiatives and projects at increasingly senior levels of the organizationStrong business process knowledge, with deep experience across one or more of the following (commercial, operations, finance)Excellent knowledge of cloud-based technologies and infrastructureA strong commitment to company mission and valuesAbility to work independently, strategically and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCertifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plusA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
