VP R&DResponsibilities:-Manage the entire development department — lead multiple teams.-Build and maintain sprints, boards, and Gantt charts.-Estimate tasks and ensure execution within provided deadlines.-Perform code reviews and maintain overall code quality.-Monitor progress towards milestones and deadlines.-Review and oversee communications between teams.-Lead the process of coordination between different teams.-Review bugs and implement steps to prevent recurrence.-Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into actionable plans.-Set software standards and establish best practices for development.-Develop high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable distributed software systems.-Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of engineering talent.-Manage multiple development projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality outcomes.-Establish and maintain a fluid, self-improving development process and methodology.-Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.-Act as an integral member of the company’s management team.Requirements:-10+ years of experience leading, managing, and scaling R&D teams.-Proven experience managing teams larger than 20 employees.-Strong understanding of development practices and cloud-native architectures.-Cross-platform knowledge (web, mobile, back-end, front-end).-Prior leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively.-Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation.-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.-"Can-Do" mentality and mindset.-Strong interpersonal skills.
