Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor/Motion Designer with experience in shooting and editing videos. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to create engaging multimedia content. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from our office in Limassol, Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with our brand and project goals.
Use editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects) to cut, color correct, add music, sound effects, and graphics.
Ensure the final product is delivered on time and meets the project’s objectives and quality standards.
Motion Design:
Create and animate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to enhance video content.
Develop storyboards and visual concepts for motion design projects.
Work with design and marketing teams to integrate motion graphics into various media formats.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the creative team, including designers, writers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance video content.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor/Motion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion design tools like Adobe After Effects.
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including shooting, lighting, and sound would be a plus.
Creative mindset with excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
English language — intermediate level
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Familiarity with social media platforms and video content optimization for different channels.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in shooting videos in various environments and settings would be a plus.
