Vice President Operations in Consult

We're looking for a seasoned Operations leader with a passion for Gene Therapy and its potential to revolutionize human health. They are a mission-driven organization committed to pushing the boundaries of science and improving patient lives.In this role, you will lead all aspects of our client's US-based operations for their Gene Therapy portfolio. You will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring efficient and compliant operations that support timely product development and commercialization.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a high-performing team across various operational functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and project management.Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the client's overall business objectives.Oversee all aspects of manufacturing for gene therapy products, ensuring compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.Manage the supply chain for raw materials, components, and finished products, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.Lead the quality assurance team in implementing and maintaining robust quality systems to ensure product safety and efficacy.Manage complex projects related to product development, manufacturing scale-up, and commercial launch.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness within operations.Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial) to ensure seamless product development and commercialization.Manage relationships with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and other external partners.Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in gene therapy manufacturing.About You:Minimum 15 years of experience in a leadership role within the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on gene therapy or other advanced therapies.Proven track record of leading and managing complex operational functions in a fast-paced environment.Deep understanding of cGMP regulations and quality management systems.Experience with technology transfer, process development, and scale-up for gene therapy products is a plus.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into operational plans.Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.Experience working in a remote environment and managing geographically dispersed teams.Strong understanding of US healthcare regulations and reimbursement landscape is a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to play a leadership role in advancing the field of gene therapy and helping patients with serious diseases.Flexible remote work environment with occasional travel required.Be part of a dynamic and innovative team at the forefront of scientific discovery.Make a significant impact on human health and improve patient lives.If you're interested in the above role, then please click apply.Medexec will endeavour to contact candidates within 14 days of application.
