The successful candidate will be hands-on, driving financial and operational results, and will have a direct impact on the history of space exploration. Key responsibilities include leading integrated manufacturing operations, directing initiatives for cost-effective, high-quality performance, implementing methods to increase production efficiency, and championing production for existing and new programs. The role also involves analyzing processes for safety and cost savings, overseeing the development of data-driven systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Applicants must have a BA or BS degree with a focus on Operation Management or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience, and at least 15 years of manufacturing leadership experience. A strong background in leading large teams, building successful operations, and managing change is essential. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, a strong eye for business, and experience in aerospace or related industries. Skills in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System are preferred, along with a Master's degree and experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and Product Lifecycle Manufacturing systems.
