In this key leadership role, you will drive our growth in the Communications Automation and AI space by acquiring new automation clients, leveraging your expertise with the system-integrator (SI) ecosystem, and a wide range of vertical domains. The SVP Direct Sales & Strategic Partners, New Business will oversee and manage the sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue and bookings and to contribute to the overall profitability of IntelePeer. We are a high-growth company and are looking for the right head of Direct Sales & Strategic Partners, New Business to continue our growth path. Position Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new logos directly, with a focus on B2C, large Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.Develop and execute on a strategic partner acquisition and enablement plan through system integrator and strategic partner channels.Build and nurture SI C-level relationships across top SI partners to solidify and deepen our partnership.Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Cloud/SaaS, Managed Services, and Cloud Applications to position IntelePeer as a leader in CAP (Communications Automation Platform).Leverage your expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), CRM and Marketing Automation to identify and implement innovative sales strategies and tools to drive revenue growth.Create a consistent and valued customer experience leveraging scalable and repeatable methodologies through proven best practices.Utilize your expertise in sales methodologies and frameworks, to develop and train the sales team, enhancing their capabilities and maximizing their performance. Implement key account planning tools and methodologies to facilitate customer intimacy objectives. Establish relationships with leadership across sales, customer success, support, product , and marketing leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment at scale.Manage and achieve key business metrics including bookings, revenue, utilization, retention, and overall account health.Be an inspirational leader and create a vibrant, inclusive culture that inspires people to do theirs best work.Operationalize key programs as well to ensure the team can scale to meet the needs of our customers and do more with less over time.Drive cross-functional collaboration with product development teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and product roadmap, including customer feedback and market insights into product enhancements and innovations. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Expertise and Experience Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with Sales, C-level executives, decision-makers, and cross-functional teams.Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, demonstrating resilience and agility in navigating market dynamics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from sales data and market trends.Experience with the enterprise and demonstrated leadership to make rapid decisions and problem-solving in this environment.Proven experience building and running a sales team with the right operational skills.Broad-based business and technology professional with 15+ years of experience in high-growth organization delivering software-based business solutions to enterprises.10+ years of work experience in a sales leadership position with track record of growth.Top performer of driving growth in Bookings, Sales revenue and Gross Profit.A track record for building and growing a world-class sales organization.A self-motivated team player.Ability to build a comprehensive Account Plan to facilitate deeper /wider relationships.Proficient in Salesforce, Highspot, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Ability to build an operating model with tools, processes, and people to drive a scaled model for Account Management.Detailed understanding of best practices for Salesforce utilization as a Customer Relationship Management tool.Must be open to 50% travel.
