UX Writer & Localization Specialist in SKELAR

SKELAR is a venture builder that builds international product IT companies according to the rules of the venture capital world. Together with the co-founders, we gather strong teams to launch product IT businesses and win in global markets.

We are currently looking for a UX Writer & Localization Specialist for one of our businesses - Liven.

Liven is a product company that builds a companion for self-exploration.

We believe that self-exploration is a life-long journey and therefore develop an ecosystem of products that make this journey understandable, pleasant and interesting:bite-sized courses, mood tracker, AI-companion, routine builder and well-being tests and we plan to create many more useful things.On a practical level, we help people better understand themselves.

From 2023 year, we have gone from a small startup to a team of 200+ specialists and are actively expanding. But with each new stage, we keep the main thing: a living culture where everyone can launch their own ideas and influence the product.

How will you influence the product?
— You will write clear, warm, user-friendly text that helps you easily navigate the application, from onboarding to daily interactions;
— You will shape the voice of our AI companion Livie by creating supportive and friendly dialogues;
— You will make key scenarios simpler and clearer to make it easier for users to interact with the product;
— You will participate in discovery discussions, contributing content insights at early stages;
— You will propose hypotheses about copywriting, run A/B tests and evaluate impact of text on user behavior;
— Will improve existing texts, supporting accessibility and emotional support of the application;
— You will support tone of voice, UX guidelines and localization rules;
— You will work with translators and help in linguistic QA for different languages;
— You will conduct research: surveys, interviews, copy tests — to better understand user needs;
— You will analyze UX patterns and tone of voice of competitors to find potential improvements for our product;
— You will work closely with designers, product managers, engineers and content team.

What makes you the ideal candidate?
Skills:
— C1+ English;
— 1+ years of experience in UX writing, content design or copywriting;
— Understanding of UX principles and features of texts for interfaces;
— Ability to write warmly, clearly and with emotional sensitivity;
— Experience of cooperation with designers and product teams;
— Experience with conversational writing or interest in AI chats;
— Basic research skills (or willingness to learn): interviews, surveys, UX copy tests;
— Understanding A/B testing and impact of text on user behavior;
— Strong communication skills, responsibility and attention to detail;
— Fast learning and adaptability in a dynamic environment;
— Robot experienceand with Figma, Google Suite, Notion, Strapi;
— Ability to analyze competitor products and their onboarding flow

Will be a plus:
— Experience in localization or cooperation with translators;
— Experience in writing scripts for AI assistants or conversational design;
— Knowledge of Crowdin or other tools for localization;
— Interest in well-being, mental health or emotional support.

In addition to businesses, we are developing the SKELAR foundation, a charitable fund created by the company's employees. Within the framework of the initiative, we create and finance projects that contribute to overcoming the consequences of the war and rebuilding Ukraine.
