About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the SpeedBT websites. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design. Our future teammate will have strong capabilities in designing website and application that have stunning UI and convert well.

Role Objectives

• Own look and feel of SpeedBT websites and applications
• Design beautiful websites and apps
• Optimize UX over time based on user data to improve conversion rates
• Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code

Core Requirements

• Solid experience in frontend development
• Portfolio of websites to brag about, focus on web apps with complex user flow
• Strong design skills: Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Midjourney etc.
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Working level of English
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, problem solving

Additional Requirements (the more the better)

• Development experience with Angular / Remix / Next.js
• JavaScript
• git
• Unix-like OS command line proficiency
• GitHub account with projects to brag about
• Understanding of and experience with OAuth 2.0
