UI|UX designer in W8 Shipping

W8 Shipping is an American-Ukrainian company with its own logistics infrastructure, warehouses, offices and team in the USA.

The mission of W8 Shipping is to provide excellent service for the purchase and delivery of cars from the USA. We want quality cars from the USA to be the norm for Ukrainians. Therefore, we work according to the clear and demanding American standard.

We are looking for a creative and active UI|UX designer.

Your tasks will be:

• User research and analytics. Goal: deeply understand user behavior and make decisions based on data.
• Designing the UX architecture of the product. Goal: to create a logical, scalable and understandable experience.
• Using AI in UX design. Goal: to increase the efficiency and speed of decision-making.
• Work in a product team (Product Thinking). Goal: to ensure synchronization of UX with business, technology and analytics.
• UI / Design system / Interaction design. Goal: to create a stable, flexible and recognizable interface.
• Communication, presentation, facilitation. Goal: communicate the solution simply and convincingly.
• Measuring the results. Goal: UX should show a measurable business effect.
• Constant learning and trends. Goal: to remain relevant in a field where changes occur every month.

Our expectations:

• Experience of fractions from 3 years.

• Conducting interviews, surveys, usability tests, A/B tests, card sorting. The ability to formulate hypotheses and confirm them with data.

• Building a logical product structure: information architecture, user flow, scenarios.

• Creating interactive prototypes (Figma) for testing even before the development stage.

• Planning tests, selecting respondents, recording user behavior, analyzing results.

• Creating understandable microtexts that enhance the experience.

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards, work with contrast, fonts, adaptability.

• UI / Interaction Design, Core UX skills.

• Ability to organize visual space to focus attention.

• Creation or support of design systems, components.

• Building interfaces for various devices: desktop, mobile, tablet.

• Using animations to improve UX perception.

• Analytics and decision-making based on data.

• Working with data: GA4, Hotjar, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker Studio.

• Skillsability to combine quantitative (behavioral) and qualitative (insights from interviews).

• Planning, running and analyzing experiments with product / marketing teams.

• Basic understanding of database queries for hypothesis testing.

• AI-assisted skills, using ChatGPT / Claude to synthesize user insights, create hypothesis.

• Ability to formulate quality prompts for text and visual models.

• Routine automation: feedback sorting, analytics summary, copywriting generation.

• Product Thinking, ability to connect design solutions with business metrics (conversion, retention, CAC, LTV).

• Conversion of insights into specific features and MVP.

• Cooperation with the product manager in hypothesis testing.

• Understanding competitor UX practices and market trends.

• Communication and team interaction, working with marketers, developers, analysts.

• Ability to explain complex UX decisions in simple business language.

• Accept feedback, defend decisions with arguments (why this particular color, CTA, script, sequence).

• Creation of UX presentations and reports that convince.
