UI designer for the project "Unified judicial information and communication system" in Fond Shidna Evropa

Eastern Europe Foundation within the framework of the project "Support for digital transformation" (DTA) announces a competition for the search for a contractor to provide the services of a UI designer (designer/- interfaces) to support the project "Unified judicial information and communication system" (hereinafter - ESICS).

Purpose:since 2018, Ukraine has had a "Unified Judicial Information and Communication System", which provides access to judicial proceedings through online services for courts, citizens and legal entities (https://cabinet.court.gov.ua). The ESICS system allows courts, other bodies and institutions in the justice system, participants in the legal process to exchange documents and data in electronic form. It provides access to information about court decisions, cases and proceedings, provides an opportunity for litigants to participate in a court session online with the help of a video conference in real time. In this way, ESICS contributes to the transparency and efficiency of judicial proceedings. A functional audit of the Unified Judicial Information and Telecommunication System (CIVITTA) is currently underway, which requires the development of new modules and the updating of the ESICS concept, as well as the modernization of new subsystems.

Term of contract: until the end of 2024 with a possible extension.

Service engagement: full.

Collaboration format: mixed (a combination of offline and online work). Preference is given to candidates who will be able to work in the city of Kyiv.

Basic tasks and duties within the scope of the contract:

• develop layouts and prototypes: create visual page layouts and interactive prototypes that demonstrate how the final product will look and function;
• choose color schemes and fonts: ensure the interface is attractive and readable;

• work with graphic elements: creating and processing icons, buttons, images and other graphic elements;
• ensure usability: working together with UX designers (User Experience) to ensure intuitiveness and user-friendliness of the interface ;
• take into account the brand style: adaptation of the interface to the general style and identity of the brand;
• participate in the creation of the identity and brand style: active participation in the creation of approaches to the design and its individual elements , which can be applied on the Internet resources of the judiciary.

Requirementsto the participants of the competition:

• experience of working with interface design - from three years;
• understanding of design trends in social networks;
• professional command of the state language;
• efficiency, responsibility, sociability;
• ability to work with a technical task and read technical requirements for layouts;
• ability to create mockups in Figma;
• successful experience in design support in the public and public sectors;
• art education;
• > command of the English language at the B1 level.
