UAV tester pilot in Frontline

The Frontline company develops and manufactures robotic systems for the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Our mission is to save human lives by robotizing the military. We create complex technical solutions that change the rules of warfare right now. Given the specifics of the job, we consider only candidates from Kyiv or those who have the possibility of relocation — for joint teamwork, quick communication and trips to flight tests. What to do: Plan field flight tests (on the training ground near Kyiv or in the conditions of the hall) , testing systems and subsystems during their use and providing feedback to engineers. Communicate clearly and calmly with developers in case of detection of malfunctions or wishes for product improvements. Test products in laboratory conditions: work-up to failure (software and electronic part), repetition of work cycles ( inclusion-use-exclusion), search for bugs and states that cause them. In case of a complex breakdown, be able to find the cause (at the module level) and eliminate it (replacement of the flight controller or another board/antenna/cable/connector). Keep documentation for testing, fixing malfunctions, compiling bug reports and test plans. Have a sincere desire to improve the product, aimed at stable and convenient operation. Requirements: Driver's license of category B, and very preferably - your own car. Be able to pilot a helicopter-type UAV (Mavik 3 / FPV) and navigate the terrain in the absence of GPS Communicate competently and succinctly with developers — describe the problems that have arisen, reproduce the bugs found, provide wishes for improvements during operation (both the software and electronic part, and the mechanical component). Understand the principles of operation flight controller (Ardupilot), control equipment and video transmission. Be able, if necessary, to find a module that does not work and replace it. Accordingly - own a hand tool/soldering iron/multimeter Understand the physical principle of radio communication and electronics (at a basic level).
