We lost two middles at once. You need to work in a dedicated team of our long-standing client - an IT company whose shares are traded on the NYSE. Now we will explain everything.

For the first 6 months you will be working at Axon on the tasks of this one client and this is what it looks like. These six months will be something like a trial period, after which the client will most likely take you on.

What to do

• Be caustic, inquisitive and critical of any, even small, questions of the client;
• Communicate with in-house lawyers and middle management of the client, do it in a friendly, fast and convincing manner;
• Explore how IT business works, as well as how business works in Ukraine and Western Europe in general;
• It is very good to understand the national corporate body, labor law, protection of personal data, to be able to distinguish important terms of contracts from legal bullshit, not to be afraid to dive into tax legislation;
• Monitor changes in regulations and understand how this affects the client and its people;
• Be oriented in memes at the level necessary to maintain a current with colleagues in the slack;
• Correspond with government agencies from time to time.

What are the requirements

• From 2 to 5 years of work experience;
• Among them, at least 1 year of work in the Big Four, legal consulting (we mainly consider companies from Legal500) or in-house in an IT/telecom company;
• English is not lower than 'upper intermediate' - it will be needed for superficial and deep studies of the legislation of other countries, as well as correspondence, negotiations and writing consultations;
• Anglo-Ukrainian office slurs and the parasite word "type" are not welcome, but whatever;
• Love for the law and the legal profession, and this is no joke.

We will accept two lawyers, one of whom may have a little less experience and a little lower level of English, and the second, accordingly, a little higher. Therefore, in the questionnaire, mark who you consider yourself to be: less senior or more junior.

It will be very uncomfortable for both of us if:

• You do not distinguish law from legislation, butsee the differences between legislation and current legislation; believe in Harry Potter, but do not believe in P-6 and P-7;
• You have not opened the Civil Code for a long time. So long ago that at an interview you will not spontaneously name 12 key conflicts between the Civil Code and the Economic Code;
• Your level of English is actually much lower than we ask. No, it will not work to quickly learn/teach/train in the process of work. We will find that out right at the interview.
