We invite you to take part in the competition for the position -transact-SQL (MS SQL) programmer

It is important for us:

• Experience of practical work with MS SQL server as a developer for at least 1 year (in including SQL server on Azure Virtual Machine);
• Ability to develop Transact-SQL code;
• Ability to analyze query execution plans;
• Ability to optimize Transact-SQL code (procedures, triggers, scripts);
• Knowledge / experience of working with BI products (SAP Business Objects, MS Power BI etc.);
• Knowledge / experience with Sybase products (Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ);
• Knowledge / experience with PowerBuilder development environment (Sybase or Appeon);
• Ability to use code versioning systems (GIT etc);
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies (main Azure services etc).

DBA skills will be a big plus:

• DRP creation and support (Backup strategy, replication, etc.);
• Experience in configuring SQL Server security, ability to configure audits;
• Ability to localize problematic in terms of performance queries, experience with monitoring tools;
• Maintenance of existing indexes, suggestions to create new indexes or remove unused ones;
• Experience with task automation (PowerShell, SQL Agent Jobs);
• Support and administration of SQL Server in an Azure VM environment (SQL Server 2016+ versions).

Main duties:

• Development of program code on Transact-SQL (existing project);
• Optimization of queries, indexes;
• Documentation of changes, procedures and configurations;
• Cooperation with developers and other technical teams to improve application performance.
