Trainer, instructor in providing first aid in UK-Med

UK-Med is an international humanitarian mission with an office in Dnipro and based in Kharkiv and Lviv. The main goal of the organization is to contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality among the local population and internally displaced persons by providing the necessary medical assistance to vulnerable segments of the population, as well as conducting trainings on providing first medical aid in case of injuries to civilians and first response services to events (police, ambulance teams assistance, paramedics, etc.).

We are looking for an interested specialist - a qualified instructor for conducting trainings with the provision of pre-medical first aid within the framework of the UK-MED medical training program in Ukraine.

The purpose of this position is to provide quality training as for clinical staff, as well as for the civilian population in Ukraine, communal and specialized services (Emergency Services, police and others).

Main duties:

• Conducting first aid training for civilians and first responders (police, ambulance crews, paramedics, etc.) in accordance with the training schedule
• Ensuring quality training
• Help in the development of trainings and other training materials
• Maintenance of attendance lists and collection of feedback forms
• Cooperation with instructors of other medical training programs
< li>Support data collection and reporting
• Collaboration with the logistics team to ensure the necessary logistics related to the delivery of trainings
• Collaboration with the security manager to ensure trainings are delivered

Professional qualifications:

• Experience in conducting educational events (trainings, sessions, conferences) on health issues
• Sincere interest and enthusiasm for education
• Experience in coordinating and / or management of humanitarian programs on health issues
• Experience in coordinating educational activities, developing effective working relationships with all interested organizations
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages ​​(spoken English will be a privilege)
• MS Office (Excel - Word - PowerPoint) and e-mail skills.
• Medical education preferred but not required
