Trainee SEO specialist (Project) in Locomotive Digital

We are Locomotive Digital! A team that promotes businesses through SEO, PPC, SMM and targeting, creating individual digital strategies for e-commerce, educational, medical and other niches.

We do not work according to templates - individual solutions, quality, transparency and results are important to us.

We are looking for SEO Trainee / Junior who is just starting to develop in SEO, but at the same time already has strong communication skills and is ready to build partnerships with clients. 

This is a position at the intersection of SEO and project management - for those who want to grow in SEO, but are not afraid of responsibility and lively dialogue.

What tasks await you?

• Support of SEO projects together with a Senior specialist: from audit to development.
• Participation in the formation of an individual strategy for each business.
• Preparation of technical tasks and control of their implementation (under mentorship).
• Analysis of results and assistance in adjusting the strategy.
• Regular communication with clients (online meetings by appointment).
• Weekly meetings with the SEO team.
• Preparation of reports and presentation of results to clients.

A little about our projects

• Geo: 95% — Ukraine.
• Scales are very different — from large online stores with 100,000+ pages to local businesses (for example, dentistry in Osokorki).
• CMS we work with: WordPress, Shopify, OpenCart. Experience will be a plus, but not mandatory.

We will definitely be a match if you:

• Have a basic understanding of SEO or experience from 0.5 years (courses are also ok).
• Want to develop in SEO and are ready to learn.
• You have strong communication skills: you can formulate thoughts clearly, keep the structure of the conversation, do not get lost in the face of complex questions, have a customer-oriented mindset.
• Able to listen to the customer and explain complex things in simple words.
• Do not avoid responsibility.
• Do not "break down" from difficult customers.
• Attentive to details and systematic in work.
• Ready to offer solutions, not to wait for tasks "from above".

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Ahrefs, Serpstat, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics.
• Understanding the basic principles of internet marketing.

How do we work?

• Number of projects: up to 10 simultaneously (depends on complexity and level of autonomoussti).
• At the start, you work together with a more experienced SEO specialist.
• You do not work alone: we have content writers, link builders, devas.
