Trainee/Junior QA Engineer in CHM software

The CHM software company develops software and equipment for automating the seller's workplace and accounting for the institution's activities. Its Chameleon POS solutions are already used by more than 6,000 retail outlets across the country

CHM software on the Ukrainian market since 2009. The company's head office is located in Kharkiv, where about 60 employees work.

In connection with the active development of the company, we are opening a vacancy for a QA Engineer.

Main requirements:

• Experience in QA quality from 1 year.
• Experience in testing accounting systems.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Understanding the operation of client-server applications.
• Correct application of test types and techniques for specific functions.
• Ability to write testing documentation.
• Experience with bug tracking systems: Jira, Red-Mine, etc.
• Knowledge of the wiki system.
• Ability to work with several projects.
• Experience with databases; ability to work with logs.

Main responsibilities:

• Identifying problems and converting them into bug reports.

• Participation in the analysis of the business logic of the application and covering it with tests.
• Reviewing the project documentation.
• Defining the testing strategy.
• Developing the test plan and other test documentation, which ensures proper testing coverage.
• Determination of labor costs and work planning.
• Performing software testing of Enterprise systems: Desktop applications, API testing, Web application testing, Mobile application testing (IOS, Android).
• Use of different types, techniques and testing tools depending on the chosen approach and purpose: end-to-end testing, functional and non-functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load testing and etc.
• Continuous analysis and actions to improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of software testing.
• Analysis of the results obtained during testing.
• Registration and tracking DTC of the defect.
• Risk assessment, determination of dependencies and assumptions.
• Compilation of reports on the results of the conducted testing.
