Trainee/Junior QA Engineer

Combining knowledge of commodity accounting and nuances of work in the restaurant business, we created Horeker.
Horeker combined a convenient waiter's workplace, a full-fledged product accounting program, functionality for guest loyalty management, PRRO, bank acquiring for non-cash payments. Everything that is needed for running and operational control of business.

Basic requirements:

• Experience as a QA from 1 year.
• Experience in testing accounting systems.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Understanding of client-server applications.
• Correct application of type and testing techniques for specific functions.
• Ability to write test documentation.
• Experience with bug tracking systems: Jira, Red-Mine, etc.
• Knowledge of the wiki system.
• Ability to work with several projects.
• Experience working with databases; ability to work with logs.

Main responsibilities:

• Identifying problems and converting them into bug reports.
• Participation in the analysis of the business logic of the application and its coverage with tests.
• Reviewing project documentation.
• Determination of testing strategy.
• Development of a test plan and other test documentation that ensures adequate test coverage.
• Determination of labor costs and work planning.
• Performing testing of enterprise software systems: Desktop applications, API testing, Web application testing, Mobile application testing (IOS, Android).
• Use of different types, techniques and tools of testing depending on the chosen approach and purpose: end-to-end testing, functional and non-functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load testing, etc.
• Continuous analysis and actions to improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of software testing.
• Analysis of test results.
• Registration and tracking of the LCD defect.
• Risk assessment, definition of dependencies and assumptions.
• Compilation of reports on the results of the conducted testing.

Working conditions:

• Schedule: Mon-Fri from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.;
• Paid trial period;
• 10 minutes from the subway;
