About us:

BO "Energy Foundation" Action for Ukraine" is a charitable organization that deals with the full implementation cycle of installing solar hybrid systems in schools and hospitals as part of the "100 Solar Schools" and "50 Solar Hospitals" initiatives. The purpose of the fund is to promote the energy independence of critical and social infrastructure objects.

Description of the project for which the position is envisaged:The project involves turnkey implementation construction of hybrid solar power plants for medical facilities throughout Ukraine. In total, the current proposal covers managing the installation of 17 solar plants over two years. The contract can be extended for further construction.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Planning, organization and management of projects (from the initial stage to commissioning).

2. Coordination of work between project team members, subcontractors, engineers and project stakeholders.

3. Development of detailed project plans, schedules.

4. Formation, planning and control of the use of the project budget.

5. Formation and submission of monthly reporting to stakeholders according to the relevant requirements of the project.

6. Participation in the discussion of project decisions, project implementation status among all project stakeholders (in English and Ukrainian).

7. Ensuring control and technical supervision over the timeliness of design and issuance of design and estimate and other technical documentation for construction works, compliance with established terms and level of construction quality.

8. Control over the conduct of tenders and the conclusion of contractual relations with contracting organizations regarding the supply of equipment, project development and construction and installation works, control over the fulfillment of the terms of contracts.

9. Monitoring the mandatory compliance with the implementation of electricity supply projects with the requirements of the current DBNs, GOSTs, rules, instructions and instructions for design, and other methodical and regulatory documents.

10. Analysis and implementation of experience in design, construction and exploitation of built objects, preparation of proposals on this basis for improving the way of implementation of the projectprojects in the Fund.

Requirements for the candidate:

- Higher education (Master's level) in engineering, construction, project management or related fields.
- Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in project management in the energy sector of Ukraine.
- In-depth knowledge of the full cycle of project management, especially in the field of projects financed by development financial institutions.
- High level of knowledge of rules and procurement procedures (will be an advantage).
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Ukrainian languages.
