CHARITY ORGANIZATION "CHARITY FOUNDATION "DEPOL UKRAINE"is looking for like-minded people who share our mission - ensuring a decent life for those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and announces a competition for the position of chiefdevelopment manager(Fundraiser).


Manager duties:

1. Strategic leadership and development of donor relations:

  • Lead, develop, monitor and report on the Strategy and development function of the Depol Ukraine Foundation with a key focus on finding, attracting and retaining donors.

  • Create, motivate, inspire and lead the development team to develop effective work plans for fundraising and donor base development that ensure the achievement of the Strategy's goals.

  • Perform the main functions of developing the strategy of the foundation's organizational program, including the formation of fundraising and advocacy priorities, and contribute to the creation of an organizational culture of cooperation focused on values ​​and high standards.

  • To provide strategic leadership in order to form the image of the "Depol Ukraine" fund at the external level as a reliable partner for donors and institutions, as well as lay the foundations for growth and influence in Ukraine.

  • Establish strong working relations with other divisions of the "Depol Ukraine" foundation in order to effectively coordinate the preparation of donor proposals, grant applications and advocacy initiatives. font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Prepare documents for the senior management and board of trustees in order to report to the management on the results of fundraising activities. text-decoration: none">Together with the Executive Director, to ensure the effective performance of all tasks related to the search for donors, which corresponds to the strategic goals of the fund. none">2. Income generation and active search for donors:

    • Develop new business opportunities of the "Depol Ukraine" fund by actively searching for institutional donors, international organizations and funds, including through participation in tender procedures, effective management of contracts and strategies their renewal.

    • Lead, together with regional directors, the strategy of advocacy and interaction with state authorities and local self-government to receive statutory and program funding.

    • To maximally expand the capabilities of the "Depol Ukraine" fund through the attraction of new corporate companiesdonors and partners in the private sector, cooperation with communities and churches, and membership in the Vincentian family. text-decoration: none">Manage key donor and partnership relationships with the program director. font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"> Closely cooperate with the financial department of the "Depol" fund. style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Actively seek and provide new sources of funding for the "Depol Ukraine" fund by constantly monitoring donor opportunities and developing advocacy contacts.

    • Cooperate closely with colleagues in attracting international finances, to ensure effective coordination of donor requirements and new directions of fundraising.

    • Ensure accurate and secure management of information in the database or similar systems. style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">3. Information Exchange, Communications and Advocacy:

      • Oversee Depol Ukraine Fund information exchange to ensure that marketing and communications activities reinforce advocacy messages and support engagement donors.

      • Offer compelling digital marketing and communication strategies targeting donors and partners who contribute to the implementation of the fund's programs andfundraising.

      • Control media engagement strategies and collaborate with national media to increase recognition of the fund among potential donors.

      • Readiness to travel to Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kyiv and other regions in order to develop donor and partnership relations.

      • Obligation to work in accordance with Vincentian values of the "Depol Ukraine" foundation and to promote protection, safety and ethics practices.

      4. Adherence to policies namely:

      • Adhering to a zero tolerance approach to sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (SEAH) and commits to working in accordance with the Vincentian Values"DEPOL UKRAINE".

      • Adherence to the Code of Conduct for employees and volunteers of the BF "DEPOL UKRAINE" and promoting the values and mission of Depol.

      • Adherence to the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults" policy.

        Compliance with the requirements of the Regulation on non-disclosure of data and information related to the Fund's activities.

      • In compliance with the requirements of Article 30 of the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language", foundation employees must provide services and communicate with each other while working at the foundation exclusively in the state language, namely Ukrainian.

      • Subordination: Foundation director.


      Requirements:

      1. Higher education.

      2. More than 5 years of experience working in a charitable organization.

      3. Practical experience in strategic planning and achieving financial goals in the non-profit, public or private sector.

      4. Understanding the principles of fundraising and stakeholder management in order to support the ongoing development and implementation of the organization's programs outside of institutional, public, and government funding.

      5. Experience and confidence in working with financial information, the ability to draw up a budget, manage budget funds and accurately forecast income.

      6. Experience representing the organization to external audiences and managing external communications at a high level, such as account management.

      7. Experience in the implementation of communication and marketing strategies that contribute to increasing the attractiveness and attracting funds for the organization.

      8. Awareness of humanitarian assistance issues, awareness of homelessness and/or social isolation and its impact on people's lives.

      9. Ability to work in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

      10. Possession of leadership, organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate a team

      11. Fluency in the Ukrainian language.

      12. The level of knowledge of the English language is not lower than upperintermediate.

      13. we offer:

        1. Official employment, work under a fixed-term employment contract. 

        2. The trial period is 3 months.  Weekends: Saturday, Sunday.

        3. Annual leave of 24 calendar days, in case of benefits, additional leave is granted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
