INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – SELECTION OF AN INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT)

Consultant – head of the project implementation team of the Second Regional Representation of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund

Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (UFSI) is a non-profit organization created by Resolution No. 740 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 28/04/2000 with the aim of providing support to the least socially protected sections of the population by supporting and developing the initiative of territorial communities and public organizations at the expense of various sources, mainly international technical assistance funds. partnership II", which is aimed at helping to improve the national system of professional (vocational and technical) education in Ukraine. The financing of this Project is carried out by the German government through the Credit Institution for Reconstruction (KfW).

In order to properly perform the tasks within the framework of the Project, the Consultant will provide the following main services:

• participation in the implementation of the Project activities;
• coordination, monitoring and control of the activities of consultants involved in the Project;
• ensuring interaction with state authorities, local authorities self-government and administrations of educational institutions with which the UFSI cooperates within the framework of the Project implementation;
• providing assistance to the relevant educational institutions, structural divisions of the regional level executive authorities and local self-government bodies in planning, development and implementation of the Project activities;
• representation and protection of the interests of the UFSI in the region of the Project implementation.

The Consultant will be selected based on the following criteria (Mandatory Requirements -100 points):

Education: higher education (master’s or specialist degree) in the field of social sciences or in the field of law (max. score – 10 points);

Work experience(max. score – 70 points):

• at least three years of work in the implementation of social, educational or public initiatives (projects for community development, human rights protection, inclusion, education, etc.) (max. score - 10 points);
• experience of working in international technical assistance projects or projects financed by international financial organizations (max. score - 10 points);
• experience of interaction with state structuresframeworks, non-governmental organizations and mass media (max. score – 10 points)
• experience in coaching and facilitation (max. score – 10 points);
• experience in promoting the implementation of public participation mechanisms, in particular by organizing public discussions, round tables and information campaigns (max. score – 10 points);
• skills in preparing information messages, news, articles and announcements for a corporate website, social networks, etc. (max. score – 10 points);
• experience in conducting social research/surveys, as well as preparing analytical materials (max. score – 10 points).

Language: fluency in Ukrainian and English at a working professional level (including business correspondence, working with documentation, participation in meetings and negotiations). (max. score - 10 points).

Computer skills: confident user of MS Office (max. score - 10 points).
