Tester for the development and implementation of an integrated information system (geo-information system) in Fond Shidna Evropa

The Eastern Europe Foundation within the framework of the USAID / UK Dev project "Supporting the Digital Transformation of Ukraine" (DTA) together with the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine announces a competition for the position of the tester for the development and implementation of the Integrated Information System "Geoinformation System of the State Level Urban Planning Cadastre" (hereinafter - GIS MBKD).

Date start of work: June 2024.

Term of engagement: 3 months.

Primary responsibilities:

• provide support to the team in identifying possible system bugs and errors;
• conduct regular functional and non-functional tests of finished and new system functionality;
• conduct bug tracking and reporting in Confluence/Jira;< /li>
• regularly communicate with the team and the project manager regarding system bugs and their correction;
• develop test documentation;
• develop test plans and test coverage (test plan and test coverage );
• conduct manual testing of the information system and conduct bug tracking;
• conduct regular reporting on identified bugs;
• form lists of bugs, suggestions and user requirements, conduct appropriate their documentation;
• conduct regular testing of fixed bugs;
• conduct regular incident logging;
• participate in product testing at all stages of the development life cycle (SDLC);
• conduct regression testing of the product;
• participate in pre-launch product testing.

Requirements for the candidate:

• minimum two (2) years of experience in functional and non-functional testing of web, desktop, mobile applications;
• knowledge of QA methodology, mechanisms and processes;
• experience in project documentation analysis for business, user and technical requirements;
• experience in developing test cases and checklists for testing new and ready-made software functionality;
• experience in working with clients server architecture (REST);
• basic knowledge of SQL.
