Required skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Experience in test design and execution for complex systems
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in Linux/UNIX
- Networking experience in TCP/IP. Ability to analyze traffic captures in depth.
- Knowledge in Databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, DB2, etc’)
- Ability and experience in working with logs
- Upper-intermediate English
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Creative, innovative, versatile individual, willing and able to explore new territories and solve hard problems
- Being a motivated and curious team player
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Electronics/ Program
- Basic knowledge of any object-oriented programming language (Java is a preference) – advantage
- ISTQB certification – advantage
Scope of work:
Taking ownership of new features – designing and executing test plans, examining both functionality aspects and usability aspects, verifying the bugs and running additional tests to make sure the new features are released in high quality
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of existing features.
- Identifying different types of bugs, root cause analysis as well as solving complex framework problems.
- Handling with field bugs, work for reproductions and be part of private patch confirmation.
- Participate in architecture & design discussions, work closely with R&D teams.
- Collaborate with other team members during the development process.
- Implement quality control methodologies to ensure quality assurance standards.
- Acting as a focal point for knowledge of the product – assisting other groups in the organization to understand the current behavior of the product.
- Get involved in TE and product trainings inside the team.
