Test Automation Engineer in ABB

To strengthen our team in IIoT Platform and Applications stream, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer, who is an effective team player with excellent communication skills. As an IIoT P&A stream we are developing unified approach for software which consists of set of services and apps with individual lifecycles hosted on top of ABB common platforms for on-prem execution and cloud. As a Test Automation Engineer you will be working in cross-functional and agile team which operates in an international environment. Your responsibilities Actively participate in planning sessions and ensure requirements are clear and complete Creating test cases (manual and automated) Manual test cases execution Execute test scripts and analyze and record results Maintaining the existing test automation Reporting bugs and errors Issues analysis and bug management Following best software development practices to ensure high quality product and great user experience Participating in the whole software development lifecycle from analysis, design via implementation, testing to delivery, following best DevOps practices Your background Programming fundamentals and ability to program in at least one programming language preferably JavaScript/TypeScript Experience in code reviewing and debugging Experience in testing framework preferably Playwright Practical skills in using Linux, Git, Docker Experience in following areas are considered assets: Helm/Kubernetes knowledge, CLI applications testing, testing RESTful services Experience in testing web components would be a very appreciated asset More about us We look forward to receiving your application (documents submitted in English are appreciated).
