The client is looking for a skilled Telecommunications Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in and understanding of telephony, along with hands-on experience in telecommunications and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). This role demands proficiency in the C programming language and familiarity with signalling standards such as SIP and DIAMETER.

Required Skills:

• Telco/IMS experience;
• Proficiency in C programming language;
• Experience with signalling standards such as SIP and DIAMETER is a plus;
• Ability to read and interpret 3GPP specifications;
• Proven track record of adhering to deadlines and keeping projects on track;
• Experience with other programming languages and technologies used in telecommunications;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Fluency in English;

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain telephony software applications.
• Work with IMS and other telecommunications systems.
• Implement and support signalling protocols, including SIP and DIAMETER.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices in telecommunications.
