About the company

Sky Fortress is a Ukrainian engineering company that develops and manufactures complex electronic systems and equipment, combining hardware and software. Our products undergo certification and industrial testing before being put into production. We are looking for a technical writer who will help create and maintain a complete set of technical and certification documentation for our products.

Main duties

• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation for electronic and engineering equipment: product passports, technical specifications (TU), technical descriptions, instructions of operation, specifications, test reports.

• Formation of a package of documents for certification and compliance with standards.

• Interaction with designers, technologists, quality engineers to describe the architecture, functions and composition of systems.

• Ensuring compliance of documents with the requirements of DSTU, GOST, ISO and corporate standards.

• Maintaining a unified structure, terminology and formatting of the entire technical database of the company's documents.

Requirements

• Working experience of 2 years or more with technical documentation in the field of electronics, mechanical engineering or production.

• Knowledge of the requirements of DSTU, GOST, ISO regarding the preparation of technical documents.

• Ability to read drawings, schematics, specifications, electrical diagrams.

• Higher technical education (electronics, automation, instrumentation, engineering or related fields).

• Proficiency in Ukrainian and English at the Intermediate+ level (for working with technical terminology).

• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, PDF editors, basic documentation formatting tools.

It will be an advantage

• Experience in preparing product passports, technical specifications, reports for certification.

• Understanding the full life cycle of a product — from development to production and operation.

• Experience working with documentation for electronic or industrial equipment.
