We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining articles on our knowledge base website. This role requires close collaboration with our developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the information. The Technical Writer will also develop a content plan aligned with our release schedule to keep our documentation up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and structure articles for our knowledge base website.
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and business analysts to gather and verify information about system functionalities.
- Develop and maintain a content plan based on our software release schedule.
- Ensure all knowledge base articles are up-to-date and accurately reflect the current state of the system.
- Create clear and concise documentation that is easy to understand for a wide range of users.
- Continuously improve the quality and clarity of existing documentation. Respond to feedback from users and team members to enhance the documentation.
- Track and manage documentation updates in alignment with product releases and updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum C1 level).
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Experience working with development teams and understanding software development processes.
- Experience in writing documentation for SaaS products or B2B environments.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with knowledge base software and content management systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work within the Canadian time zone (Kyiv time 16:00 — 00:00).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies. Proficiency in using documentation tools
- such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar.
