Ukrainian Control Systems LLC is a provider of technical solutions in the field of transport monitoring. We currently have a vacancy for a technical support engineer. Our office is in Kyiv.
We are looking for a technical support specialist to work with customers, solve technical issues and provide high-quality support for our software/hardware.
Basic responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to customers (first and second line) via phone, e-mail and ticket systems;
- Diagnosing and solving technical problems (network settings, software errors, integration, working with APIs, etc.);
- Maintaining the knowledge base: creating and updating articles, instructions, FAQ;
- Close interaction with developers and other departments to solve complex incidents;
- Monitoring of the support system, control of response times and quality of service;
- Conducting training for customers (online meetings, webinars, demonstrations).
Requirements to the candidate:
- Higher technical education (information technology, computer science, telecommunications, etc.);
- Experience in technical support from 1 year (preferred, but not mandatory);
- Knowledge of the basics of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewall);
- Understanding the operating principles of the OS (Windows, Linux);
- Basic knowledge of SQL, JSON, REST API - will be an advantage;
- A must - the ability to clearly, structured and technically competently formulate thoughts in written and oral communication;
- High level of customer orientation, attention to details, responsibility;
