Technical support engineer (English speaking) in StarWind Software / Starvind, OOO

StarWind is a pioneer in data storage virtualization, offering a unique combination of simplicity, performance and availability while providing maximum flexibility. The company is focused on the development of a data storage virtualization platform and a hypervisor management system. We are a full-cycle company headquartered in Kyiv, and our main product has been on the market for more than 10 years.

We are currently looking for a technical support engineer, a positive person with good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, clarify, and resolve customer inquiries.

• Collaborate with other teams.

• Research and creation of custom environments with specific software and hardware components.

Requirements:

• Freelance in English (oral and written),  ability to communicate effectively in English by phone and email.

• Understanding and knowledge of storage and virtualization technologies.

• Windows administration/support experience or Linux environments.

• Good communication skills to work with clients worldwide.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, proactive innovative thinking.

< strong>Desirable:

• Experience supporting customers on their production systems.

• Experience with SAN/vSAN.

• Administration experience /support for Hyper-V/VMware systems.

• Experience with Active Directory, DFS, MS SQL Server, MS Exchange Server, Terminal Services or WSUS.
