Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Experience in administering Linux operating systems (Centos, Ubuntu, etc);
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus (experience with CloudWatch and Grafana will be a plus);
  • Basic knowledge of Bash commands;
  • Experience with Git;
  • Experience of working with Apache and Nginx web servers (minimum – basic understanding of the principles of operation of the specified web servers);
  • Work experience or basic understanding of relational databases (Mysql, etc ); 
  • Understanding of basic network protocols: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP;
  • Experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible/Puppet;
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform (minimum - basic understanding of how the service works);
  • Experience with AWS and its services (preferred);
  • Experience writing automation scripts in Bash or Python (preferred);
  • Experience and knowledge of mail services (Zimbra, Postfix) and telephony (Asterisk) will be a plus;
  • English language at the level of reading documentation and correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical support of servers and services, as well as solving technical problems from users and technical teams related to the operation of servers and services;
  • Automation of routine tasks using scripts and tools automation;
  • Search and identification of problems, help with their solution;
  • Configuration, support and expansion of monitoring systems;
  • 24/7 support for technical teams, users and infrastructure ( shift system, during non-working hours - responding to urgent requests and notifications from monitoring systems (for the duty officer)).
