About the role The Data Technology team within PitchBook’s Product organization develops solutions tosupport and accelerate our data operations processes. This domain impacts core workflows ofdata capture, ingestion, and hygiene across many datasets. This role works collaboratively with our Data Operations, Engineering, and customer-facing Product teams tostrategically align the roadmap with business needs and ruthlessly prioritize development efforts todrive roadmap delivery and operational efficiency. Asaqualified expert You will Validate business needs, pain points, and opportunities through ongoing stakeholder collaboration BeanSME for your product area(s) and resource for team members across PitchBook Actively define roadmap prioritization and create business cases for new opportunities Create project plans and detailed functional specifications from prioritized requirements and business objectives Communicate requirements and technical details tostakeholders inmultiple PitchBook departments Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams toexecute your technical product roadmap Continuously improve our external and internal deliverables and operational processes Define, create, and manage metrics that track workstream and system performance. Understand and analyze data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems Give compelling presentations tostakeholders onprojects and vision Bearesource for junior team members onthe Product Management process Support the vision and values ofthe company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate invarious company initiatives and projects asrequested We’re looking for you ifyou have Bachelor’s degree inMath, Finance, orrelated field 3+years ofproduct management orother relevant experience Aproven record ofshipping high impact data structures, pipelines, and workflow tools Bias for action and awillingness toroll upyour sleeves and dowhat isnecessary tomeet team goals Experience gathering user-centric requirements and writing functional specification documents Superior attention todetail including the ability tomanage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong audience awareness Knowledge ofSQL, Python, Java, and micro-oriented architectures and infrastructures. Preferred Qualifications Experience collaborating with data gathering/operations teams Demonstrated collaborative experiencewith technical architects toachieve long-term goals Experience communicating with remote teams and stakeholders Demonstrated application ofartificial intelligence/machine learning solutions within data collection processes.
