Technical Officer in WoterMission

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with local communities, government, and Church representatives

• Conduct assessments and installations as needed

• Provide local program management to ensure safe and effective operations of all systems

• Provide Timely reporting

• Manage all aspects of system service and maintenance

• Ensure bi-monthly water samples of each system are collected and sent for testing

• Troubleshoot technical problems

• Support assessment and installations when needed

• Ensure all service reports are completed daily and uploaded/shared

What is required? 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Civil, Environmental (Electrical, Mechanical, and other Engineering degrees considered).  
• 0-5 years of engineering experience (>5 years also considered).  
• Knowledgeable skills with office computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and engineering programs (such as AutoCAD, EPANET, etc.).  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent relationship skills.  
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical skills (experience with data analysis a plus).
• English language skills
• Experience in developing countries (preferred, not required).
