Now we are looking for a Technical Lead Java Engineering to join us as part of our team.

About the role

The Space HUB Account is looking for a talented and responsible person in our family. You should be ready for challenges, self-motivated, and ready to lead the team. You’ll work with a social marketing commerce reward service, early stage startup (USA)

Team Structure: 1 PM/BA, 1 Lead, 3 BE, 3 FE, 2 QA (UA/USA)

You’ll work with the following stack: Java, Quarkus, AWS, Serverless, Neon

Processes: Kanban

Schedule: Flexible (with a need to attend team meetings).

As a qualified expert, You will

• Working shoulder to shoulder with founders, communication
• Team management
• Oversee and drive architecture (vision, documentation, etc)
• Write code, infrastructure management
• Tech support.

We’re looking for you if you have

Tech skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in the industry of software development as a Java backend software engineer
• Tech management experience 1+ years (former Tech Lead/Team Lead roles)
• Computer Science and System Design fundamental knowledge
• Understanding of frontend development (React, hooks, redux, SPA, SSR, etc)
• Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar tools
• Understanding of architecture trends (Monolith, Microservices, Serverless)
• Experience with engineering best practices (CI/CD, Clean Code, DevOps, XP, Lean, etc)
• System administration basics, infrastructure, deployed secure, scalable backend services to Cloud environments

Soft skills:

• Good communication skills
• Be responsible for the result
• English B2 level or higher is a must
• Be a passionate engineer
• Ability to learn new technologies or frameworks
