Technical director of the "kamikaze" unmanned aerial vehicle project in JobHunt

An innovative MilTech company that creates high-tech hardware solutions is looking for a technical directorto lead the development of a disposable unmanned aircraft platform type—from concept to serial production.

The project is a one-time long-range unmanned aerial platform that has no direct analogues in terms of its characteristics. The company creates a fundamentally new product "from scratch", which is ahead of the market in terms of efficiency, sustainability and level of autonomy. The task involves designing an airframe for rapid forming technologies (composites), integrating a power plant with effective thermal management, and implementing autonomous navigation without GNSS (resistance to electronic warfare, accurate terminal guidance). All engineering solutions are based on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to move from prototyping to cheap and scalable serial production.

This project is just the beginning of your professional journey within the company. R&D roadmap is drawn up for years ahead. The successful completion of this project paves the way for the creation of next generations of strike systems and new classes of unmanned aircraft. The main goal of the position: transformation of the project from the stage of experimental models to a serial, engineering mature product. Management of the full cycle of R&D (mechanics, electronics, software) and preparation for mass production.

Desired competencies:

• Experience in the field of development and implementation of complex engineering solutions.
• Experience in management of technical projects and teams.
• Understanding of technology of robotics and automated systems.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials science and system engineering.
• Advanced level of proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or analogs.
• Knowledge of standards of design of KD (ESKD/ISO) and product preparation for series.
• Understanding of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and risk management.
• Successful cases of output of "iron" products (Hardware) from prototype to series - is considered an advantage.

Working trips within the country for testing and meetings with partners are planned.
