Nota Trade is the official distribution company of energy equipment
We are building a system distribution of solar and BESS equipment in Ukraine. Warehouses, service, engineering support, ERP — we create a full-fledged market infrastructure.
We are currently forming the technical core of the company and are looking for a Technical Director who will lead the development of technical expertise, service and product direction.
Your role
You are the main technical expertise of the company.
A person who forms decision standards, helps sales win big projects, builds service infrastructure and represents the technical side of the company to partners, manufacturers and the market.
Main area of responsibility:
Technical expertise on the product line
Deep understanding of inverters (string, hybrid, C&I-class)
Working with energy storage systems (BESS), BMS and PCS-architectures
Datasheet analysis, component compatibility and system limitations
Formation of technical recommendations for the use of equipment
Evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of brands in the company portfolio
Presale and technical sales support
Development of typical solution architectures for residential and C&I segments
Preparation of technical proposals for large clients
Participation in negotiations with EPC companies, developers and large installers
Consulting sales managers on technical issues
Formation of system design guidelines
Certification and compliance
Working with Ukrainian standards (DSTU, technical requirements for connection)
Control of equipment certification for the Ukrainian market
Interaction with laboratories and certification bodies
Control of compliance of equipment with the requirements of the energy infrastructure
Education and team development
Conducting technical trainings for the sales department
Preparation of comparative materials on equipment
Conducting webinars and technical seminars for partners
Creating technical knowledge base of the company
(solutions catalogs, technical guides, FAQ)
Interaction with suppliers
Technical communication with equipment manufacturers
Participation in product roadmap
Collection of feedback from the market and transfer to manufacturers
Testing of new products before launch on market
Evaluation of new brands to expand the portfolio
EMS and new directions
Participation in developmentin the company's EMS strategy
Working with solutions for energy management
Interaction with IT architects
Support of energy market integration products
KPI
Quality of technical solutions and pre-sale support
Success technical consultations in large deals
Built service infrastructure
